REMOTE DP

COVID-19 changed the way productions are filmed. Because of travel restrictions and head count limits, productions are relying on local crews for more content than ever. This can lead to a wide discrepancy in quality depending on the skill of the technician and the gear that they have available.

The Remote DP is a new hybrid role that works with productions to maintain high visual standards and implement consistent creative looks across a project. Part Director, part DP and part Producer, the Remote DP helps source local crews from a trusted network of professionals, scouts locations and directs setups via camera feeds over Zoom.
