My roll on Cold Case Files is to implement the look created by series DP Ian Saladya across multiple episodes all over the country. Each time a new local DP is brought on, I prep them and direct the first day's setup on zoom to make sure that interviews match the look established and meet the standards set by the pilot.
REMOTE DP RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with production to implement style guide created by original series DP
Consultant to producers on gear requirements
Work with production to source crew for multi-cam remote shoots across the US and international locations
Work with production to choose locations
Prep local DP's prior to the shoot and finalized equipment needs
Direct crew via zoom with camera feed to finalize shoots maintain standardization and quality
